Logo Of Audi

Logo Of Audi :-

Audi is a famous German automobile manufacturing company. It deals in lavish and luxurious cars. The company got named after its creator, Augush Horsh. Since more than a hundred years, Audi has been the top manufacturer of German cars.

The history of the company goes back to 1909 when August Horch founded the company and named it Audi, a Latin translation of his own name. "Audi" was actually the Latin word for "hear", which in German is sometimes pronounced "hoerch". At the time Horch founded the company, the logo had little in common with today's logo or the famous "four rings". It consisted of the writing of Audi in a V-shape and the number 1 on top.

The famous "four rings" logo was brought on the scene of history later in 1932 to represent the merger of the four independent motor-vehicle manufacturers, Audi, DKW, Horch and Wanderer. The new Audi logo was designed as the emblem of "Auto Union AG" and in the first version, every ring contained the logo of the four merged companies. It is believed that the use of the four rings logo is most likely to generate back to the idea of Olympia and the Olympiad.

The current logo was released in 2009 and show an improved version of the three dimensional aspect of the rings and a new and modern typeface for the Audi text. It was a welcomed and well-received facelift from the previous version of the logo. Due to the increased recognition of the brand, Audi minimized the use of the actual text in the logo to push forward the "four rings" emblem, allowing the symbol to appear in some cases even without the Audi text, with an emphasis on the heritage and an increased flexibility. That is what a great brand can do.

Logo Of NASA

Logo Of  NASA :-

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, famously shortened as NASA, is a government owned agency that carries out the civilian space program and aeronautics and aerospace research for the United States of America. It was formed on July 29, 1958 when President Dwight D. Eisenhower agreed to sign the National Aeronautics and Space Act.

The NASA logo is a powerful reflection of the agency’s history and tradition. It is used in NASA’s space and aeronautics programs and day-to-day communications materials with clear guidelines. The NASA logo visualizes elements of space exploration and aeronautics, focusing on the agency’s technological pursuits.
On July 29, 1958, in order to curb the growing technological threats to the US leadership, President Dwight D. Eisenhower established the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) with a vision ‘to pioneer the future in space exploration, scientific discovery and aeronautics research’. NASA has now become one of the most influential agencies in the world, with its groundbreaking research in aeronautics and exploration system through latest scientific and space operations. Soon to celebrate its Golden Jubilee and responsible for the nation’s public space program, NASA is in the path of exploring various opportunities to improve life on Earth.

The first NASA logo can be traced back to 1959, when the National Advisory Committee on Aeronautics (NACA) wanted to create a seal, which could encompass the transformation of the committee into an agency that excels in both space and aeronautics. Hence, the NASA Lewis Research Center’s design was chosen as the final selection, which featured the Sun, the moon, the white stars, the orbital path and the red chevron with “National Aeronautics and Space Administration” encircling the image. However, for less formal usage, the executive secretary of the NACA requested James Modarelli, the head of NASA Lewis’ Research Reports Division, to simplify the NASA logo design. Thus, Mr. Modarelli cut down the NASA logo design to just the stars and the orbital path on a blue background with the red chevron passing through the letters N-A-S-A. This revised version of the NASA logo represented many aspects of the space and its relative nature to the agency. In this NASA logo, the sphere represents a planet, the stars demonstrate space, and the red chevron symbolizes the aeronautics, whereas the orbit signifies space travel. In 1975, when the news of NASA’s developing a new and a more modern NASA logo surfaced, this NASA logo was named the “meatball” to distinguish between the other two NASA logos.

From the year 1992 till date, NASA has used the “meatball” as their official NASA logo. It is considered to be a design nightmare by Greg Patt, (Graphics Manager for Lewis' Publishing Services) as the print does not appear clear in the laser print.

Logo of Harley Davidson

Logo of Harley Davidson :-

It was 1901 when a young man, barely the age of 21, dreamed up a unique motor that would change the world. That young man was William S. Harley. The motor was a 7.07 ( 116cc ) cubic inch small engine used to power a bicycle. For the next two years, William Harley and his long time friend Arthur Davidson would tinker with their small engine powered pedal bicycle. Then in 1903, William, Arthur, Henry Melk, and Walter Davidson began improving their engine design and came up with a larger engine that had more power. It was this new engine that would go into the very first Harley Davidson prototype motorcycle.

On September 8, 1904, the first Harley Davidson motorcycle competed in a
Milwaukee motorcycle race held at State Fair Park. The motorcycle was ridden by Edward Hildebrand and came in fourth place. This is the first documented appearance of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the historical record.

Harley Davidson Logo is a symbol well known not only to motor cycle fans but also to millions of motor cycle racing enthusiasts in particular and generally among other people across the globe. The Logo of Harley Davidson extends macho image and represents strength and ruggedness.

Logo Of BMW

     Logo Of  BMW :-

BMW means ( Bayerische Motoren Werke AG - Bavarian Motor Works ) logo represents white propeller blades against a blue sky. It reflects the origins of BMW as a manufacturer of the military aircraft engines.

The BMW logo might also have its blue and white cases because of its Bavarian origin - the colors of the Bavarian flag are blue and white cases

A lot of logos nowadays have just meaningless symbols, many designers forget that symbol should have meaning and background connected to the company (website, event, organization)

The true meaning of the ‘sky blue and white quartered’ BMW logo is the most controversial issue of the company. According to Dr. Florian Triebel, Executive Board Member of BMW AG, “There are two traditions concerning the significance of the BMW logo and trademark, offering two different interpretations of its sky blue and white fields. One interpretation points to a rotating propeller.

The BMW logo consists of a thick black ring encircled by a silver lining. The letters ‘BMW’ are inscribed in a non-serif font in the top half of the black ring.  The gap within the ring is divided into four equal alternative blue and white quarters. The BMW logo, commonly known as "roundel", was created and registered in 1917. The created logo design is remarkably simple and projects an identity that is smart, clear, sporty and image-conscious. It is one of the most distinctive logo designs in the world, speaking highly of a brand-led company. The 1929 Dixi was the first vehicle to carry the famous BMW logo. The BMW logo has been altered very rarely and minutely and has maintained its original look throughout the company's history. Here are some of the logos that have been used since 1917.
